Say Goodbye 02:58
Say goodbye this is where we part I knew you’d be my best friend from the start But everything comes to an end Except the past that will transcend I don’t want to say goodbye For now I will comply ‘Til I meet you on the other side Say goodbye to all we’ve known You were in charge for decades long And I know you are afraid As the chapters turn to a page I know you’re not ready to go Please know I love you so And I’ll meet you on the other side You were the one you taught me to fight You were the one who gave me my green eyes And I know you’re not ready to go Please know I love you so I know you are afraid As the chapters turn to a page I don’t want to say goodbye But for now I will comply ‘Til I meet you on the other side

Long Gone 03:10
Walking down the streets alone Never sure which ways my home Left here many times before Still it shows up at my door No matter where I lay my head The past will find me ‘til I’m dead Long gone I’ve been down this street before Boarded windows Locked doors Every time it feels the same Memories trying to escape No matter where I lay my head The past will find me ‘til I’m dead Long gone And I was meant to be alone To sensitive to hold And all the streets are one way Disguised as freedom But trapped all the same It’s filled with boxes untouched Memories and answers and such But I’d rather walk away Then know why I am this way No matter where I lay my head The past will find me ‘til I’m dead Long gone

You, Me 04:06
You, Me And all the space that lies in between us The distance that grows every minute I used to see the light in your eyes But you are so far away That I can’t help Wondering what changed And if we can’t Bring our love back to life And the rain brought it out Looks like there’s no turning back now So if here’s where we part As you leave You take most of my heart And I’ll never forget today I suppose that’s what I get for having my heart Open for once And I let go Never going to feel this way again And the rain brought it out Looks like there’s no turning back now So if here’s where we part As you leave You take most of my heart And I’ll never forget your name Love will end Love will end babe Love will end Love will end babe You, Me And all the time spent wondering what to think I wish I had just enjoyed everything Because every love comes to an end I suppose that’s what I get for having my heart Open for once And I let go Never going to feel this way again

What happened to us We were so young I found myself inside your smile But now it’s gone And I feel so lost I’m left with these tears I can’t fight Revolving doors keep spinning round and round I’ll be searching for you Wondering all the places we could have gone And one day you’ll find the truth But by then I might be gone This was too much for both of us I’ll try my best to hold on Revolving doors keep spinning round and round Separates our love until we can’t be found Round and round and round we go Round and round and round we go I’ll be searching for you.

about

I started recording "Revolving Doors" with Anthony Maccioni back in 2018. Over the past four years, this record has endured illnesses, surgeries, infertility, pandemic, job loss, financial ruin, death, divorce and heartbreak. To say the least, this record is a fighter and I'm incredibly grateful that Anthony Maccioni never gave up on it, or me. Not only is he just a lovely human being, but he's also a ridiculously talented producer and multi-instrumentalist. He beautifully crafted these four songs, taking so much time and care with each of them and I'm forever indebted to him for having such a unique vision and unwavering work ethic.

So, without further ado, "Revolving Doors" is finally done and I really hope you enjoy it.
