It all began when a cocktail waitress and a bar back realized they had more in common than just drinking. Melissa Moshè & Tom Mandulak met as co-workers in 2002 at a bar in the East Village of New York City. Tom had just started playing cello and Melissa had casually written a couple of songs - so it seemed completely reasonable that they start a band. They named it Table Twelve to pay homage to their "careers" in the service industry. They performed all over the city - including the "summer subway tour" which was Melissa's brilliant idea to perform at various subway stops throughout downtown Manhattan - admission was the cost of a Metrocard ride.
After many years of playing together, performing, laughing and fighting like an old married couple Melissa & Tom were forced to separate due to geographical differences - Tom still resides in New York City and in late September 2005 Melissa returned home to Los Angeles. Melissa then teamed up with Marika Tjelios (Producer of Melissa Ferrick) and in 2008, their collaboration yielded Melissa’s debut album titled "small world for left hands".
In September 2012, Melissa completed her second full-length album titled “The Mortar That Binds Us.” with David Williams (Producer of Bonnie Pointer of The Pointer Sisters). Although Melissa was still obsessed with the cello, she branched out on this album using a variety of instrumentation to include banjo, tuba, mandolin, handclaps, snaps and other fun stuff.
Over this past year, Melissa collaborated with S'Von Ringo (Producer) and David Williams (Producer & Engineer) to complete a 3 song EP titled, "Mandatory Fields". We hope you enjoy it!

Pensando En Ti
Written, performed and co-produced by Melissa Moshé (ASCAP 2004).
You were in my dream last night
So vivid I could still taste your lips on mine
And sadly it begins to dissipate
Slowly fading with every passing second I wake
I was a fool
You were warm and endearingly scattered
I missed my chance
When my actions would have actually mattered
I tried desperately to quiet the voices
Simply because I don’t believe in regret
But sometimes I wonder how life would be
If events had transpired differently
Trust me
I recognize the futility
Revel in my absurdity
And you must think I’m crazy or drunk
For my delayed confession
I assure you I’m not
